Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. Her parents are of Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish heritage. Linda was raised in her native San Francisco Bay area, California, the youngest of four kids. When she was in her tenth grade she became fascinated by acting, when she performed in a play at school. Also, she performed in school plays as well as community stage productions. Linda attended Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. Following her graduation she had to make a decision whether she wanted to move to New York or Los Angeles and pursue a theater degree. After graduating, she had decide whether or not to pursue film and television in Los Angeles. Linda was cast first as a character in Bone Chillers (1996). In 1999, she landed her first major role as Lindsay Weir on the show Freaks and Geeks. Lindsay Weir played the academic decathlete on the show that is renowned and was awarded the Emmy Award.

Lily James is a stage name given to Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born on 5 April 1989. She was trained at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began her acting career on the British television series Just William (2010). After her character as Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her breakthrough was her role as the lead in the fantasy film Cinderella (2015). James went on portraying the role of Countess Natasha Rostova for the television adaptation War & Peace (2016). He also starred as Baby Driver (2017) and in the period television dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (18) as well as The Dig (2021), and in musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 earned her Golden Globes and the Primetime Emmy Awards.
