Mary McCormack, an American actress, is best known for playing the lead role in TV programs like 'The West Wing, "In Plain Sight," and Loaded.' Her parents are psychotherapist in a clinical setting and also the proprietor of an local ice-cream establishment. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She graduated in the BA program in comparative arts. At the age of 12 She began her career as an actor in an production of the Christmas opera "Amahl and The Night Visitors".
