Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in the year 1980. Parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. She was raised and from Huntington Woods Michigan. She is the daughter of a Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen's talents for performing were found at a young age. In 1992, Kristen went to her very first audition. She got an appearance in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother at the age of 13 and was cast as a model on advertisements on television and newspapers. Also, Bell began taking private acting classes. Bell was credited with a minor role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and musical clubs of Shrine Catholic High School. She was the star as Dorothy at her school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study in musical theater at the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell, who graduated in 2001, resigned her studies at the university to play her role as Becky on Tom Sawyer. Her first film credits in Pootie Tang during 2001. Her scene, however it was cut and her only appearance is in the credits at the end. In 2002, Bell was on The Crucible, a Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
